Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Patient Dining Services Lead to coordinate patient meal service and manage staff at Westchester Medical Center. The role focuses on training, staffing, and ensuring compassionate, compliant dining services for patients.

The position involves collaboration with caregivers and culinary teams to meet dietary needs and preferences while maintaining high service standards across the patient dining program.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Experience operating hospital ADT or similar systems is preferred.
• Able to lift and maneuver food carts up to 100 pounds with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee systems and processes to meet program objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure meal tray assembly and delivery.
• Coordinate menu alternatives for allergies, religious/cultural preferences, and special requests.
• Interact with nursing to evaluate daily patient meal selections and tray delivery.
