Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an experienced Patient Services Manager for a 150-bed community hospital. You will lead the Patient Services team, overseeing daily operations of patient food services and ensuring dietary compliance.

You will drive service quality, mentor staff, and collaborate on QA/PI initiatives to enhance the patient dining experience. Experience in healthcare food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in food service or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of food service management experience, ideally in an acute care environment.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team of 20+ associates, including hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing development.
• Oversee daily operations of patient food services, ensuring alignment with clinical direction and patient population needs.
• Establish service goals and drive execution to deliver a high-quality patient dining experience.
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and modified diets, aligning with physician orders while accommodating patient preferences.
• Monitor and improve patient satisfaction scores, holding the team accountable to service standards.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including federal and state regulations, accrediting bodies, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
• Participate in and lead initiatives related to patient satisfaction, departmental collaboration, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
