Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) in Dayton, OH. Roles include patient meal service, order accuracy, and adherence to safety standards in a healthcare setting.

Positions available as full-time and part-time with schedules from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm; weekends required. Prior customer service is preferred; pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing on nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu options for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and timely; retrieve trays from patient rooms.
• Complies with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; protect HIPAA privacy.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean workstations.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
