Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time shift in Johnson City, TN. The role supports menu selection, tray assembly, and delivery while ensuring safety, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

You will work closely with nursing and culinary teams, following HIPAA, HACCP, and infection-control policies; prior food service experience is required and background checks apply. Opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and infection control policies; maintain confidentiality and safety.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
