Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) in West TN Healthcare of Dyersburg, TN. This full-time role runs 6:00 am–6:00 pm, with varying days, and pays $15.00–$18.00 per hour.

Join a team dedicated to nourishing patients and supporting nutritional goals. As a patient dining associate, you will assist with menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and coordination with nursing and dietitians to meet dietary needs.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences; accommodate additional selections.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to patient selections and schedule.
• Comply with federal, state, and JCAHO standards; adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning stations.
• Follow facility infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians with patients on restricted diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
