Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring an Associate, Patient Dining (Dietary Aide) at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital of New Braunfels, TX. This full-time role runs 11am–7pm, with days that may vary and requires customer service and food service experience.

Responsibilities include helping patients with menu selections, assembling meals, and delivering trays while complying with nutrition requirements and HIPAA policies. Benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer and food service role(s). Healthcare environment and/or Dietary Aide experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection, retrieving trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Follow HIPAA policies and facility confidentiality and safety procedures.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining a clean work area.
