Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Christus Children's Hospital in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role involves assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring nutritional requirements are met.

Open to candidates with or without prior dietary aide experience; on-site shifts include AM and PM. Benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and HIPAA compliance.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets.
