• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Days may vary, including alternating weekends and holidays, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; more details upon interview.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on assigned units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They ensure patient safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate meals at the right time and temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with menu choices and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural preferences, or additional requests.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals promptly and accurately.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets or calorie counts.
• Report problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete required reports as per policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
