• Location: Atrium Health Union West - 1000 Healing Way, Matthews, NC 28104. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, days may vary, including alternating weekends and holidays, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; details provided upon interview.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate meals at the right time and temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions.
• Coordinate with nursing and culinary teams for dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays timely.
• Adhere to regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report issues promptly and complete required documentation.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
