• We are hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE positions.
• Location: Piedmont Medical Center - 222 South Herlong Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior patient dining or dietary aide experience is required.
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates assist in meal service within healthcare settings, ensuring accurate, timely delivery of meals, and supporting patient safety and satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring dietary compliance.
• Coordinate with culinary and nursing staff regarding dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray assembly and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow regulatory standards, HIPAA, and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians with patient monitoring for special diets.
• Report issues promptly and complete required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
