Morrison Healthcare in Worcester, MA is hiring a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) for a part-time schedule at Saint Vincent Hospital. You will assist patients with menu choices, assemble and deliver meal trays, and support the caregiving team to ensure timely and accurate service.

The role emphasizes safety, nutrition compliance, and compassionate patient care. Training will be provided; rotating weekends and holidays apply, with a fixed pay rate of 17.25 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in understanding menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer suitable menu alternatives.
• Assemble meals accurately per patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and HIPAA policies; maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work areas.
• Support dietitians with patients on liquid diets or calorie-controlled plans.
• Report issues to appropriate personnel promptly; complete required records.
• Comply with health, sanitation, and department procedures.
