Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Penn Highlands Dubois, PA. Join a team that nourishes patients, families, and staff while delivering meals with care and accuracy.

As part of the caregiving team, you will help patients select menu options, assemble and deliver trays, and support dietitians and dietary guidelines in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Prepare and report daily, weekly, and monthly records per Morrison policies.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate staff promptly.
