Job summary

Kaleida Health at Buffalo General Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of patient trays while supporting diet-specific menus and the room service process.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a customer service focused position.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions, reason and make sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, order accuracy and timely delivery of patient trays.
• Provide basic Information About Your Diet education materials and distribute diet-specific menus; explain room service process.
• Assist patients who cannot select themselves and complete floor stock and dietary tasks for assigned units.
• Maintain high communication with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
