Job summary

Kaleida Health’s BGMC Food and Nutrition department seeks a part-time team member to ensure timely delivery of patient trays and provide basic diet information to patients. You will assist with menu selection when needed and coordinate with hospital staff to meet dietary needs. Strong communication with patients and staff is essential.

Standard shifts include 7a-5p, 7:30a-5:30p, and 8a-6p; onsite work with bi-weekly schedule and union oversight. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in a customer service focused position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, order accuracy and timely delivery of patient trays.
• Provide basic information about diet education materials and explain room service program.
• Assist with floor stock and dietary needs for the assigned unit.
