Job summary

Kaleida Health in Williamsville, NY seeks a part-time Dietary Support role to ensure quality and timely patient tray delivery. You will educate patients on diet information, distribute menus, and assist in the room service process, communicating clearly with patients and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year in a customer service position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Good basic math skills
• Weight handling capacity up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, order accuracy and timely delivery of patient trays
• Provide information about the Diet education materials and menu
• Explain room service program and ordering process
• Assist patients who cannot select a menu to ensure they have a choice
• Complete floor stock and address dietary-related needs for the unit
• Maintain high level of communication with patients, visitors and staff
