Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR is hiring Patient Dining Associates/ Dietary Aides for full-time and part-time shifts. You’ll help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of tray service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections; retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintain clean work stations.
• Adhere to infection control policies and HIPAA procedures.
• Communicate problems or concerns promptly to appropriate staff; complete daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
