Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time on-site work at Baptist North Little Rock, AR. The role includes assisting patients with menus, assembling meals, and delivering trays while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Schedule is 5:30 am to 1:30 pm with training provided. Prior patient dining experience is preferred, and a beneficial training culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA policies and maintain patient confidentiality and rights.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
