Morrison Healthcare in Germantown, TN is hiring for a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide). Two 12-hour shifts and two 6-hour shifts; days and hours may vary, with some weekends and holidays. Prior related experience is preferred, and training is available.

You will join a caregiving team to help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure safety and satisfaction by meeting dietary requirements and timing. HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsabilités

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and dietary preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu; retrieve trays at assigned times.
• Comply with regulator standards, HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians by monitoring patients on liquid diets or specific calorie counts.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per Morrison policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Performs other duties assigned.
