H2 Health in Rural Retreat, VA is seeking a Patient Coordinator to bridge patient care with administrative excellence. You will be the first contact for patients, ensuring they receive high-quality service from arrival through follow-up.

Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, verifying insurance, handling referrals, maintaining accurate records, and supporting front desk operations. You will collaborate with clinicians and staff to deliver a welcoming, organized clinic environment

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficient in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
