Job summary

Image Orthodontics is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our busy orthodontic and pediatric dental practice in Pleasanton. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and families, managing the schedule and supporting the clinical team to ensure an excellent experience.

This full-time role requires experience in a dental or orthodontic office, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with children and parents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental, orthodontic, or pediatric dental office preferred.
• Punctual, reliable, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of scheduling, insurance verification, and dental/ortho terminology preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially with children and parents.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Bi-lingual,Spanish, Chinese or Farsi preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and parents warmly, ensuring a positive experience at every visit.
• Manage scheduling, confirmations, recalls, and follow-up appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with processing claims.
• Collect payments at the time of service and handle billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
• Support the orthodontic and pediatric teams with patient flow and office coordination.

The Patient Coordinator is often the first point of contact for our patients and parents. You’ll play a key role in ensuring an excellent experience by managing the schedule, supporting the clinical team, and keeping the front office organized and welcoming.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
• Occasional Saturdays
