Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and communicate patient information to appropriate staff.
• Collect copayments and obtain required insurance authorizations and referrals.
• Maintain scheduling systems, enter physician orders, and access electronic medical records.
• Coordinate scheduling changes and communicate updates with providers and departments.
• Provide clerical support while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Follow Baptist Health policies, safety standards, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness procedures.
