Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior medical clinic experience preferred.
• Experience using an EMR.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in and out.
• Operate multi-line telephone system and screen calls.
• Enter patient information into computer and schedule appointments.
• Take detailed messages and route them to appropriate staff.
• Triage calls and direct to providers or departments as needed.
• Balance cash drawer and deposit daily at clinic close.
• Prepare and send referrals and obtain authorizations when required.
