Lehigh Valley Health Network is hiring a Clinical Concierge – Medical Assistant for the LVPG-L Internal Med ExpressCare in Bethlehem. You will act as the first point of contact, handling check-ins, coordinating referrals, and supporting clinical teams.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma (or trainee program) with strong multitasking, customer service and EMR skills. Expect a dynamic schedule with day shifts and weekend coverage. 

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant or completion of LVPG Medical Assistant Trainee course.
• Strong multitasking, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, word processing and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform patient check-in/check-out with accurate registration.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments; process referrals.
• Schedule appointments and optimize clinic workflow.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and compliance.
• Collect patient data (vital signs, height/weight) and document in medical records.
• Assist providers with patient information collection and exams.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies; assist with procedures.
• Perform follow-up calls 2–3 days post discharge.
