• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant or LVPG Medical Assistant Trainee course.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, word processing, and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and medical terminology.
• BLS within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Behave professionally and empathetically to build trust with patients and guests.
• Coordinate and perform patient check-in/check-out; verify insurance; collect payments; process referrals.
• Schedule appointments and manage clinic workflow; handle patient inquiries; maintain EMR records.
• Maintain logs, quality control, and stat cart checks.
• Collect patient data (vital signs, height/weight) and document in medical records.
• Assist providers with patient information collection and exam preparation.
• Complete patient rooming and SOPs to expedite care and ensure safety.
• Collect lab specimens and prepare requisitions; administer meds and vaccines as ordered.
• Support procedures and post-discharge follow-up calls within 2–3 days
