Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a patient service specialist to handle front desk operations, patient intake, insurance verification, and data accuracy. You will greet patients, collect registrations, and ensure confidentiality at all times.

The role requires association with medical coding knowledge, HIPAA awareness, and 1–3 years of medical office experience. BLS certification is required; office software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification must be obtained and maintained.
• 1–3 years of medical office experience is preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and blood-borne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and manage front desk operations.
• Obtain registration data, insurance information, and photo ID at each encounter.
• Enter patient data into the computer system accurately.
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles per plan.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines at all times.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard money received.
• Manage patient charts, referrals, and records as requested.
• Assist staff and schedule provider referrals as needed.
• Keep lobby clean and stocked with necessary items.
• Follow financial controls and minimize risk; support auditing services.
