Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s CareNow urgent care division is seeking a patient services professional to manage front-desk operations and support our clinical team. You will verify insurance, assist patients with check-in, answer calls, and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.

The role requires strong customer service, proficiency with multiple computer systems, and timely balance reporting. BLS certification is required within 30 days of start, with preference given to applicants having 1 year of

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner following Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and refers questions as needed.
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects necessary insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, documenting all forms of payment.
