Job summary

HCA Healthcare's CareNow Urgent Care Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Representative to deliver compassionate patient support and efficient front-desk operations. You will check-in patients, handle calls, verify insurance, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting a busy urgent care team.

The role requires strong customer service, clerical accuracy, and the ability to work with multiple computer systems; BLS within 30 days is required and weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure occupational client’s preference card and procedures are followed.
• Review patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and document all forms of payment.
