Job summary

Erie Family Health Centers, a Chicago-based community health system, is hiring a Front Desk Medical Receptionist at Erie West Town Health Center to greet patients, update demographics and insurance data, and verify appointments.

You will work with a team across Patient Support Services and clinical staff, handling payments, using EMR systems, and ensuring a friendly, accurate check-in experience. Bilingual and EPIC experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• EPIC/EMR experience a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registering patients, inputting charges, scheduling and verifying appointments.
• Collecting payments at the time of service, applying fee scales, safeguarding cash, and verifying insurance.
• Collaborating with Patient Support Services and other staff to ensure efficient, friendly service.
