Job summary

ACCESS Community Health Network in Chicago, IL is hiring a front desk receptionist to greet patients, collect data, check-in, schedule, and process payments, ensuring a smooth visit.

You will receive training on Epic EMR and join a mission-driven team committed to health equity and community care. Evening and Saturday availability is required. This role supports patient-centered care and access to primary care services in a Federally Qualified Health Center network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patients’ first point of contact and create a welcoming and supportive environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect accurate data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure their visit is smooth and efficient.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model.
• Advance organizational goals to improve patient care and community health outcomes.
• Receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with Epic, one of the world's leading Electronic Medical Record systems.
