Job summary

ACCESS Community Health Network in Chicago is seeking a front desk receptionist to greet patients, collect data, schedule visits, and process payments. You will support a patient-centered medical home model and ensure a smooth check-in experience.

Qualified candidates will be bilingual (English/Spanish), have basic computer skills, and be able to work some evenings and Saturdays. CPR/BLS certification is required, Epic EMR training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in computer skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
• CPR/Basic Life Support Certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patients’ first point of contact and create a welcoming environment at the front desk.
• Guide patients through check-in, collect accurate data, schedule appointments, process payments, and ensure their visit is smooth and efficient.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to support ACCESS' patient-centered medical home model.
• Advance organizational goals to improve patient care and community health outcomes.
• Receive comprehensive training and hands-on experience with Epic EMR.
