Job summary

Avance Care is seeking a Front Desk team member in North Carolina. You’ll be the first point of contact, greeting patients, scheduling, and guiding them through check-in to check-out in a busy clinical environment.

The role requires at least one year of Medical Front Desk experience and a related degree is preferred. You’ll handle EMR updates, payments, and referrals with professionalism and confidentiality.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and assist patients promptly and professionally.
• Set up new patients and update information in the EMR.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and coordinate walk-ins.
• Answer phone calls promptly and relay messages.
• Balance cash register and process payments.
• Explain fees, services and policies.
• Process referrals and provide complete referral information to patients.
