Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Murrells Inlet, SC is seeking a receptionist to handle front desk operations, greet patients, schedule appointments, and support the medical team with administrative tasks.

You will work with EMR/CRM systems to maintain accurate patient records, assist with billing and inquiries, and keep the reception area welcoming and organized. The role is patient-facing and involves TB screening as part of the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 1+ year in healthcare setting preferred, but strong customer service background in retail/hospitality/call centers will be considered.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk.
• Schedule and manage appointment calendars with staff coordination.
• Maintain and update patient records in EMR and CRM systems.
• Handle billing, payments, and copays at or after visits.
• Answer inquiries and communicate effectively with patients.
• Keep reception area tidy, stocked, and compliant with policies.
