Job summary

Vascular Centers of America is seeking a dependable, energetic Patient Concierge & Facility Assistant to support daily clinic operations and patient experience in Southfield, MI. The role involves greeting patients, assisting with arrival, and helping transport and patient amenities in a busy vascular clinic.

The position requires strong customer service, the ability to handle mobility-assisted tasks, and a professional appearance while ensuring HIPAA and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently bend and lift, push wheelchairs safely, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, family members, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist patients upon arrival and direct them to the appropriate area of the clinic.
• Safely transport wheelchair patients to and from exam rooms and procedure areas.
• Provide compassionate assistance to elderly and mobility-limited patients while preserving dignity and comfort.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and waiting areas throughout the day.
• Empty trash receptacles several times daily in patient care and common areas.
• Restock snacks, beverages, coffee station supplies, and patient amenities.
• Replenish clinic supplies and notify management when inventory is running low.
• Assist with moving deliveries, equipment, furniture, and other light physical tasks.
• Support staff with miscellaneous operational duties to keep the clinic running efficiently.
• Immediately report maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns.
