Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking an Associate to join the Gold Team at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. This on-site role focuses on greeting visitors, guiding patients, and ensuring a warm, helpful first impression while maintaining confidentiality and a fast-paced environment.

You'll assist with directions, transport, and services for patients and visitors, coordinating with hospital staff to keep the flow smooth and welcoming for all who enter the facility.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients upon arrival.
• Ascertain needs, answer questions, give directions, and assist with services as needed.
• Escort, transport, and assist patients/visitors within the hospital.
• Assist with taxis/rideshare, hotels, restaurants, and access to the internet.
• Manage safety guidelines at facility entrances.
• Build positive relationships with leadership, physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Complete verification processes and issue identification badges per policy.
• Assist vendors as needed.
• May complete unit/department-specific duties.
