Job summary

MedStar Shah Primary Care in Crofton, Maryland, seeks a Practice Operations Supervisor to help manage the daily flow of patients and providers, optimize scheduling, and support high-quality, coordinated care.

You will partner with the Practice Administrator and staff to develop the team, monitor front-end billing, and ensure compliance with CPT and ICD coding standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three to four years of progressive healthcare operations experience.
• Experience working directly with physicians.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily practice operations, patient and provider flow, and scheduling capacity.
• Recruit, orient, train, coach, and develop staff with Practice Administrator.
• Identify and resolve operational concerns and communicate with physicians and leadership.
• Monitor front-end billing activities and ensure accurate reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with policies, training, regulations, CPT/ICD coding.
• Coordinate facilities and resources to provide a safe, productive environment.
