Job summary

Bethesda Medical Associates is seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our membership-model primary care practice. This in-person role will partner with physicians and staff to deliver the highest quality patient experience and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee workflows, staffing, scheduling, and revenue cycle management while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and a culture of accountability within the office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a medical setting
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
• Budgeting experience within a healthcare environment
• Strong leadership skills with a background supervising medical office staff
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems in a medical office setting
• Strong customer service skills and knowledge of metrics to assess performance
• Coordination and scheduling experience
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a medical setting

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain efficient workflows and day-to-day operations.
• Manage patient flow and incoming calls for a courteous experience.
• Oversee revenue cycle management and billing performance.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, and development of support staff.
• Support physician scheduling and coverage.
• Uphold HIPAA, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop staffing plans and monitor attendance.
• Oversee office supplies, mail, and facility opening/closing.
