Job summary

Visionworks of America is hiring a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to prepare patients for exams, perform pre-testing, and explain procedures. You will liaise between patients and Optometrists and help guide patients through the journey from registration to post-exam steps.

The role supports onsite and remote examination workflows, with emphasis on accurate documentation and patient communication. Training provided, full-time position.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in optical/healthcare
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Training provided for role responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registration and submit medical history into EMR
• Assist onsite doctor with eye exams and document results in EMR
• Support remote eye exams including pre-testing and documenting results
• Transition patients to retail staff with doctor recommendations
