Job summary

Ayr Wellness is seeking a Dispensary Technician to deliver an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will explain product benefits, handle orders via POS, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance and a welcoming environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail or customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work varied shifts. High school diploma required; 21+ and background check clearance are needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math, computer, and cash handling skills.
• Ability to coordinate and problem solve in a professional manner.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass all background checks
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and team members.
• Experience with cash handling and POS/inventory control systems.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and guidance to patients and explain product benefits.
• Resolve patient questions quickly and communicate to management as needed.
• Oversee patient intake and maintain records confidentially.
• Process and fulfill patient orders using POS and inventory systems per policy.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and patient-first dispensary environment.
• Follow compliance practices and prevent diversion of cannabis to unauthorized individuals.
• Support daily inventory counts and floor stock management.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate professionalism.
