Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales, healthcare, dental, or patient coordination experience preferred.
• Experience in a dental office, medical office, or customer-focused healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with dental treatment planning, patient consultations, or case acceptance is a plus.
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes, including benefit verification and patient financial discussions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to discuss treatment recommendations and financial options with patients.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental office environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Consult patients to review doctor-prescribed plans and ensure understanding.
• Educate patients on options, insurance benefits, financing, and payment options.
• Build patient relationships and resolve barriers to treatment completion.
• Follow up with patients to schedule and complete recommended treatment.
• Coordinate scheduling and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Handle calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
• Address concerns and provide customer-service solutions.
• Verify insurance coverage and educate patients on benefits and responsibilities.
• Collect and post patient payments, including card transactions.
• Assist with billing questions and coordinate with departments as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in the PM system.
• Conduct chart audits and keep treatment data up to date.
• Monitor daily schedules to support office efficiency and satisfaction.
• Partner with Doctor and leadership to improve treatment acceptance.
• Assist with staff training and ensure procedures are understood.
• Support goals related to revenue, profitability, and operations.
