Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across Patient Service Center settings.

This role includes venipuncture, specimen labeling, Epic registration and involvement in kiosk workflows, EKG performance, and specimen processing to support core laboratory operations. You will collect specimens across all ages, document accurately in the EHR, and maintain safety and infection control standards while traveling between PSC

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or documented competency with ≥100 venipunctures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use EHR systems.
• Excellent customer service and reliable transportation.
• Preferred: 1 year phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered registration, laboratory and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
• Performs venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks across age groups.
• Accurately labels and handles specimens per policies and SLUHN standards.
• Supports Epic registration workflows and patient check-in processes.
• Assists with kiosk registration and outpatient EKG as needed.
• Ensures insurance and payment workflows are followed and documented.
