Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across PSC settings.

You will collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks for patients across all ages, while ensuring correct patient identification and accurate labeling in Epic registration workflows. The role requires compliance with safety standards, infection prevention, and SLUHN policies.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate required; minimum venipunctures completed.
• Ability to perform venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks.
• Strong customer service and accurate EHR/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Verify patient identity and order accuracy in EHR.
• Provide patient-centered registration and support PSC workflows.
• Prepare and transport specimens to the core laboratory.
