Indiana University Health, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Day shift professional to perform direct patient care under a Clinical Nurse, and to handle unit clerical duties for the department.

You will ensure a clean, orderly environment and assist with information, directions, scheduling tests, and maintaining patient records as part of the patient care team. Suicide prevention coverage may be required.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Requires acute patient care experience or completion of IU Health PCA program.
• BLS through AHA or completion of IU Health PCA program may be required.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of infection control principles.
• Basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse.
• Supports the patient care team and keeps the environment clean and orderly.
• Provides information and directions to physicians, patients, families, and vendors.
• May schedule tests, maintain patient records, and sign patients in/out.
• May manage ordering, receiving, and delivering equipment and supplies.
• May provide continuous observation including suicide prevention when needed.
