Ardent Health Services seeks a Renal Services Medical Surgical Patient Care Tech (PCT) for day shift in Tulsa, OK. You will assist patients with daily activities, monitor progress, record vital signs, and help with specimen collection and basic transport in a busy hospital setting.

Under supervision, you will support nursing staff, perform related duties, monitor intake/output, assist with blood draws, ROM as needed, and participate in housekeeping tasks.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a PCT:

• Works under moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties of a PCT, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observes patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
• Obtains and records patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provides basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measures and records patients' intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assists patients with range of motion, and draws blood.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of approved CNA, PCT or paramedic certification or currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Two (2) years of experience in acute or long-term care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy.
