Select Specialty Hospital Tucson Northwest is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time day shifts. The role supports post-ICU patients with basic care, mobility assistance, and routine checks. Compensation ranges from $19.32 to $24.50 per hour, depending on experience.

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing and daily care using basin-less methods.
• Perform hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers with stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and rooms.
• Keep unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $19.32 - $24.50 per hour, based on years of experience

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)
