Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Tucson Northwest in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time night shifts. You will assist with bathing, feeding and hygiene, participate in hourly rounds, and help transport patients and equipment.

The role offers a $19.32–$24.50 hourly compensation based on experience, plus benefits including RN scholarships, tuition reimbursement, a clinical ladder, health/dental/vision, generous PTO, and a company 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned
