Ascension is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join the Stepdown Intermediate Care team at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Destin, Florida. You will support patients with daily personal care, monitor changes, and document vital signs.
This full-time night-shift role requires BLS certification within 30 days, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Schedule: Nights | Full-time
Help patients with daily personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding) and safe movement, transfers, and repositioning.
Monitor patients for any physical, mental, or emotional changes and immediately report findings to the nursing staff.
Accurately record patient vital signs, intake/output, and completed care activities in their medical records.
Keep patient rooms clean, safe, and orderly, while maintaining and sanitizing basic medical equipment.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
