Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast - Specialty clinic in Destin, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Women’s Health Physical Therapy team. You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, plan and adjust patient care, and deliver PT interventions while supervising assistants and students.

The role requires a Florida PT license, BLS within 30 days of hire, and a Bachelor's degree with a preference for Master's/Doctorate.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date
• PT credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice before hire date
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's/Doctorate preferred

Responsibilities

• Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care involving patient/family.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
