Ascension Health is seeking a Nursing Professional Development leader for Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Destin, FL. This full-time role lives in the Employee Education department and focuses on developing and evaluating clinical education across the continuum of care.
You will partner with leaders to identify gaps, design competency-based plans, and measure learning outcomes to improve patient care and staff performance.

Assess, plan, and evaluate clinical educational activities across the continuum of care, serving as a strategic consultant for nursing performance initiatives and competency-based programming.
Partner with organizational leaders and clinical staff to identify educational gaps and develop multi-faceted plans that address both core nursing competencies and specialized clinical needs.
Analyze, design, and implement Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs, utilizing precise measurement tools and data-driven methods to evaluate the achievement of learning goals and clinical outcomes.
Manage and oversee competency standards for inter-professional programs, ensuring all clinical staff practice at the highest extent of their licensure while maintaining organizational compliance.
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
