Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast in Destin, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Services team. You will provide distributive pharmacy services, maintain automated dispensing systems, and support pharmacists to ensure accurate medication preparation and patient care.
Ideal candidates have PTCB or Florida tech credentials, a HS diploma with experience or an Associate degree, and hospital experience. This full-time role offers a day shift and comprehensive benefits.

Schedule: Day | Full-time
Provide essential distributive pharmacy services and technical support to Pharmacists (including pre-certification support). This includes the daily maintenance, refilling, and troubleshooting of automated dispensing systems.
Perform high-accuracy preparation of both sterile and non-sterile compounds, along with the repackaging of bulk medications in strict accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
Manage departmental inventory by preparing orders and accurately receiving and storing incoming supplies to ensure the pharmacy is always prepared for patient needs.
Act as a professional liaison between the pharmacy, patients, and healthcare providers. You will triage incoming calls and provide the necessary information to ensure seamless coordination across the hospital.
One or more of the following required:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
At least 1 year hospital experience
Sterile compounding experience highly
