Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, KS is seeking a compassionate CNA for the night shift to provide hands-on patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, assist with safe transfers, and help keep patient rooms clean and ready.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School Diploma or GED or active CNA Certification required.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

• Support safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning.
• Observe and report changes in patients' condition to the nursing team promptly.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide hands-on assistance with basic patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff

• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for and ready for use

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED or an active CNA Certification required.
